Dashboard
A centralized overview of metrics, activity, team presence, and quick actions.
Overview
The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open VOLT. It provides a high-level summary of your team's activity — trajectory counts, analysis progress, cluster health, recent work, and quick access to common actions. Everything updates in real time as your team works.

Metrics Overview
The top of the dashboard displays metric cards for key resources: trajectories, analyses, containers, and plugins. Each card shows the current count and a sparkline chart illustrating the weekly trend so you can see whether activity is increasing or decreasing at a glance.

Cluster Health
The Cluster Health panel shows the status of your team's connected clusters. It displays gauges for CPU utilization, RAM consumption, and connection status. If a cluster goes offline or a service becomes unhealthy, the dashboard reflects the change immediately.

Quick Actions
Quick Actions provide one-click shortcuts to common workflows:
- Upload a new trajectory
- Create a new container
- Open the Scripting workspace
- Start a new Volt AI conversation
Recent Activity
Recent Analyses
A chronological list of the latest analyses run by your team, showing the plugin name, trajectory, status, and completion time. Click any entry to navigate directly to the analysis results.
Team Timeline
The Team Timeline shows a feed of significant events across the team — trajectory uploads, analyses started and completed, SSH imports, container deployments, and more. Each entry includes the user who triggered the action and when it occurred.
In-App Activity
The In-App Activity panel displays real-time actions happening across the platform, giving you a live pulse of what your team is working on.
Team Presence
The Team Presence section shows which team members are currently online. Each member's avatar and name are displayed, with a real-time indicator of their connection status.
Notifications Feed
The dashboard includes a compact notifications feed showing your most recent unread notifications — analysis completions, team invitations, SSH import results, and more. Click a notification to navigate to the relevant resource.
Global Search
The Global Search bar at the top of the dashboard lets you search across multiple resource types simultaneously.
| Resource Type | What It Searches |
|---|---|
| Trajectories | Trajectory names and metadata |
| Analyses | Analysis names and linked trajectories |
| Containers | Container names and images |
| Teams | Team names |
| Plugins | Plugin names and descriptions |
| Chats | Chat names and group names |

Type your query and results appear instantly, grouped by resource type. Click any result to navigate directly to it.
Trajectory Preview
If your team has at least one completed trajectory, the dashboard shows a 3D preview card with an interactive thumbnail of the simulation. Click it to open the full trajectory viewer.
